MENTORING/COACHING
I’ve spent a lot of years becoming the artist I am today. When I first started out I decided that if I was going to pursue music as a career then I wanted to become the best unique and genuine me I could be. Flaws and all.
Over these years, I’ve had the chance to learn from some of the best in the folk community. I’ll share what I’ve absorbed (and use on my own musical journey) to help you become the artist only you can be. It's fun and rewarding! No egos, attitude, or theory!
Topics might include:
- Gentle, honest constructive song critiques
- Song Structure
- The business of Folk
- Guitar accompaniment; from beginner chords to brushing up on your folk jams
- Practicing with a purpose
- Next level performance tips
- What do you want to work on?

Get yourself to the next level as a performing singer songwriter.
I’ve found nothing more rewarding than writing songs and sharing them in ways I might not be able to say otherwise. I believe everyone has a unique voice as a songwriter and performer. Sometimes it just takes getting out of your own way and digging a little deeper to find it. In this workshop, we’ll share ideas and techniques to help you write, sing, and play your way into the hearts and minds of your listeners.

Practicing can be fun! Learn what can help you stand out and above as a performing artist.
We spend a lot of time crafting lyrics and melody, hoping to create something special. But what we do — or don’t do — with the guitar can make a big difference in how a song connects with a listener. In this workshop, we’ll explore simple, subtle ways to add a little color to your guitar accompaniment that supports the song and elevates your performance. Bring your guitar and come ready to play. 🎸🎶
